Ear styling (also commonly known as ear curation, ear mapping, etc) is the process of collaborating with a piercer to reimagine your jewellery and piercings as a cohesive whole that flows together with your anatomy. This is done by changing out jewellery and/or adding new piercings to create a balanced and unique look. This may play off jewellery you already wear or themes/colours you love. For example, many clients may style their cartilage piercings but leave their ear lobe piercings open to be regularly changed at home. Or some clients style their entire ear so it matches and is nearly maintenance free. Depending on your end goal this may be done over a series of appointments to allow for safe healing and comfort.

Because we specialize in solid gold body jewellery (and have one of the biggest collections in Western Canada) we have many different options available in the studio! While we do offer basic titanium options in the studio, gold offers us more opportunity for unique and stylish designs that are not available in titanium. Our gold is always nickel free and does not compromise the healing of your piercings. We carry different pieces that complement each other or can be combined in unique and interesting ways, no matter your anatomy. Working directly with the input of a Piercer allows them to guide you as to what designs, sizes and shapes might work best for your anatomy and personal style. We love to make suggestions and help you with your ideas!

We have been privileged to work with a broad spectrum of clients from all walks of life (as a wheelchair user I “walks” very broadly). Body piercing is about as personal of a journey as you can take and we think your piercings should reflect that personal touch and care. We book one hour one-on-one appointments for styling, as we want it to be fun and never rushed! But if you’re curious about what’s available beforehand we’re always happy to answer any questions you may have! We are usually available for walk-in browsing during our regular hours but recommend you call ahead to confirm before coming down.
